3. While being evaluated you will be asked questions about your life, your panic attacks, the symptoms you are having and you may have a physical exam to ensure that there is no underlying physical problem behind your attacks.
4. Once you have been evaluated, the professional you are dealing with will decide what kind of treatment suits your needs. You will have the opportunity to discuss your options and decide yourself.
5. You will probably be offered medication and/or counseling. It’s your choice what you want to do from here.
6. Counseling will help you overcome an underlying issues that may be causing them. It will also help you learn to overcome them naturally and help dissolve your fears about your panic attacks.
7. Counseling will also help you divert your thoughts and relaxation techniques.
